Project Completion

Okay so today i'm gonna talk about my personal experience researching the information used in my presentation. My knowledge has certainly grown since the time this project was placed on me. After writing up this presentation i have been given a clearer image on how digital audio works and how it will change the world sooner than later. We looked at the growth of digital audio and how its changed the world and how it can be used to manipulate almost any sort of audio file created or displayed in the world. From the development of radio's to podcasts , raw files to edited mp3s/mp4s and so much more.

What i did to display the kind of things for this project involved the software known as Audacity.
We got Cian to record a short audio clip of him talking about the weather while in his back garden. In doing this we are able to capture background noises like, dogs barking, wind hissing, birds chirping or even just kids playing. The project we then undertook was that we took the recorded file and transferred it to the computer that had audacity so that we could edit it. I tried for some time but then I found the noise reduction option and when I went into it all the settings were there, such as how I could make parts of the video lower, his voice to sound lower than the background noise and the one we were looking for how to get rid of the background noise leaving only the sound of Cian talking in his edited part.

The day has come and it is time to bring up our presentation. We planned between ourselves to go first but of course that wasn’t the case when we got in as people started beating us too it and speaking realistically we got a little stage fright. We ended up going about second last and when we eventually did get up I was even amazed by how good we did. We brought up a good well presented presentation and we were able to explain it properly and even gather feedback during the presentation through questions and answers from the audience.
We then presented our actual project being the comparison between the two audio files and then bringing the presentation to and end. We then took more questions at the end and gave them a clearer view of how we done the work and where we got our info from.

We were happy with it and apparently as it looks so was everybody else that listened to the presentation,.
